Is the study of dreams crucial in creating and keeping a healthy lifestyle as well as understanding the meaning behind our dreams and how they can affect our lives?

Are dreams important? Is the study of Psychology the root to answering questions about dreams? Was Sigmund Freud’s theories about dreams correct? Do dreams really represent internal wishes and / or desire? Are dreams how we cope with external issues? Does everyone dream? Do people dream in color or black and white?
