Dana and her Pepino Melon

Observation 1- My fruit is a pepino melon. It’s a tanish and yellow color with vertical, patchy purple stripes. This fruit is very appealing to me and I feel like it would be sweet if I ate it. I find this fruit very friendly and welcoming. When I hold this fruit, it feels just like a plum, and I love plums. This fruit doesn’t seem crunchy and aggressive like a radish. I feel that it is sweet and friendly. This seems like it would be juicy. Like green grapes or the plum. I also really like this size because it fits right into my hand.

Observation 2- I feel that this fruit has betrayed me. Now it smells very bad and isn’t appealing to me. I don’t bond with this fruit anymore and it’s not welcoming to me. I feel like if I bit into this pepino melon, it would be mushy, not juicy. Like a gross bruised pear. It also has made my backpack smell really bad, so this fruit isn’t something that I want near me or my things. It has a strong, repulsive, smell and isn’t the same as when I first met her. I changed my mind on this fruit, and don’t want to eat it or hold it anymore. The smell and feel of this reminds me of when I go to a produce aisle at a grocery store.
