In today’s century it is almost impossible for a child to learn without the use of technology. Technology offers access to millions of databases that provide tons of knowledge for students to research and learn.  For a long time the main source of knowledge in schools were books and the teachers but, the access to technology offers a whole new world of knowledge. Another thing that technology has offered to education is online courses.  There is a huge database of university courses available for students online that can help them get a cheaper, and more flexible education. Overall, technology is crucial to learning in the 21st century and offers many bridges to success.

Reading the article really helped me get a good idea of the use of technology in a student’s life. When I graduate college I want to become an elementary school teacher.  As a teacher, especially for younger kids I would think that technology was not used as much, but honestly being in a classroom where technology is used as a main source of knowledge and learning.  In my Field Experience I learned that some kids use technology to enhance their learning. I also think it is important that universities offer online courses for people with not as much access to the money or resources to challenge themselves. 

Is the justice system in certain situations influenced on the bias of how the suspect or victim looks?  Should a Jury’s decision be just based on the evidence of the case, or should it be based on the emotions or surrounding factors?  Is the use of Media in the courtroom a positive factor or a negative factor? In the OJ Simpson case, did evidence win the case or did OJ Simpsons reputation or image win the case?

Entry #2 – 09/04/2022

Gorgina the coconut.  You are still beautiful even after a few days sitting in my backpack because I forgot…. Your hair is starting to fall off a little bit, but you are still beautiful.  With age comes some deterioration, i’m scared to get old.  It being senior year and all of us about to start a new chapter in life genuinely scares the crap out of me.  Gorgina is helping me see a different side of myself and my self confidence.   I can’t wait to open her up and see what beautiful coconut pieces lie inside.  I started to think about Gorgina’s coconut family, maybe from florida, , or something even more beautiful.  I hope they are doing well.  Being seperated from family is hard, I think that’s a reason I am scared of college and growing up.

Entry #3 –  09/05/2022

Today was the day, that I would open up Gorgina.  It was a sad, but eye opening day. I first drained the cocount water out and then, I cut her in half.  The journey with Gorgina made me realize that not only did I see myself in her, I reflected what I was feeling on to her.  It was interesting to see how she was just a hairy circle, but when you opened her up she had so much amazingness.  I feel that I need to realize that never judging a book by its cover can really go by for a lot.  If someone didn’t know what a coconut was, they probably would think Gorgina was ugly looking, but she had so much to offer, but it was all hidden. I hope at the same time that people will not judge me by the way I look, and I just need to be confident.  Overall, Gorgina taught me this lesson.  Thank you for your time, and refreshing drink, you were amazing Gorgina!
