the journey of my Coconut named Randy

Day 1: My organic item is a Coconut. She is very round and light brown with lots of hairs/fibers. Similarly to peach fuzz. The sound of my Coconut is the milk/water inside that splashes around when you shake it. Just like a milk or water jug. I can’t wait to cut it and drink the liquid and try the insides. I can’t tell if all of the brown on the outside is just the natural color or if it’s just dirt. There is a point at one and it reminds me of a dreidel with its rounded circular edges. I like Randy.

Day 3: I put Randy in the car and the heat made her crack open a little bit. I just got home from school so I am going to open it. The liquid is very bitter and is off white/clear. I put her in the fridge to cool off and then after some time I cut up a little of the inside of the Coconut. It is so bland and bitter. Not at all what I thought. I didn’t realize how artificial Coconut flavors are, especially in the store. I made an acai bowl and put some Coconut in it which was good. I will definitely stick to buying artificial pre cut coconuts.
