I listened to an episode from The TWIML AI Podcast. The episode was titled, “Using AI to Diagnose and Treat Neurological Disorders with Archana Venkataraman”. This episode helped me to better understand my topic on how AI can make an impact on neurology. My question within my topic is “Will the Future of Technology Regarding AI Advancement be Conducive to the Progression of Curing Brain Cancer?” One interesting point that was made in the podcast episode was that in neurology, there are shortcomings when it comes to benchmarks in terms of methodology and data. This is an aspect of neurology that I will think about when I am researching more into my subject. Additionally, the episode talked about how AI can help those suffering from specific neurological disorders such as autism and epilepsy. Moving forward, I am going to particularly focus my topic on AI that can help cure epilepsy.

Will the future of technology regarding AI advancement be conducive to the progression of curing brain cancer? What would the process be for implementing AI in neurology? How soon can this development of neurology be introduced? Will AI in neurology fields mean the end of medical doctors in hospital operating rooms?
