9/2- I’ve noticed that dragon fruits come in many different shapes and sizes. I have two of them at home right now, and one is narrow and the other one is wide. The two I have are around the same size, though. I am planning on eating some tomorrow and possibly making a drink, but we’ll see. I wonder what the process is like for growing and caring for dragon fruits. I know they are grown in places like Central America, parts of Asia, and more. It would be really cool if there was a farm full of dragon fruit. I also wonder if they come in different colors because some fruits do. I am very eager to one day try dragon fruit on its own, and make my own drink!
9/3- I was curious about passion fruits because I was thinking that they were the same as dragon fruits. I went online and looked up the difference between the two. They are two different fruits. I thought that if anything dragon fruit was a subspecies or something of passion fruit, but that is not the case. Anyway, I didn’t make a drink with the dragon fruit, but I did cut it up and make a small snack! The process was super easy, I just Googled a simple cutting tutorial. My dragon fruit was bright purplish-pink on the inside, and I was able to cut it up into cubes. The video I watched featured a dragon fruit that was white on the inside. The ones I have at home are similar to the kind that Starbucks puts in their dragon fruit drinks. It was delicious and I shared it with my family and they gave me positive feedback. My mom said she liked how it wasn’t too sweet. I liked the taste and thought that the color was really pretty. In the future, I will definitely make a drink with dragon fruit. The seeds were black, but against the dark purple, they were unnoticeable. I would highly encourage everyone to try this amazing fruit.
