Is the human race depleting this process by means of medicine, cosmetics, and genetic modification? Will the human race backward evolve?  Is this going to cause a catastrophe in the long term? As technology increases is the issue going to worsen?  Is this even a comparatively relevant issue?  Will this spread to other organisms as we continue to develop?
