The article I read was about lab grown food. The article talks about how a company has created lab grown “slaughter free” meat. The company Upside has created the meat featured in this article. They have apparently struggled to get approval from the FDA. Upsides biggest struggle was said to be to get clearance. The only place that is able to have this meat released to the public is Singapore.
I had to change my research topic. My new research is about lab grown food safe for people to consume in replacement of chicken. Lab grown chicken has been a hot topic in the food industry. Lab grown chicken sounds bad, but it reduced the slaughtering of millions of livestock for consumers to eat. But is it actually safer, or healthier? The article is very informative, I didn’t know only one company has been approved by the FDA to let consumers eat this. This topic is very interesting, I have only ever heard one instance of this lab grown food. The lab grown food has evolved into something that will hopefully eventually help with the environmental problem of us killing too much livestock to keep up the demand of peoples consumption.

This topic is a really good one to research, since many people do not take the time to really understand how technology is impacting our food. I liked that you changed your topic because the second one is much more detailed and provides more interesting information. I hope to see what else there is to come with technology in the food industry.
I really enjoyed the topic of interest and I’m excited that you decided to research this, since it kind of goes “unnoticed” and is never really spoken on. Personally, the idea of lab-grown meat kind of scares me, but I do enjoy that it’s saving the lives of chickens and livestock. I like that you switched your topic to something more detailed and focused, since the first topic was a little bit broad. I feel like you can make a really powerful argument through your research with this topic!
I really like your topic and I found it interesting how you changed the topic specifically to lab grown Chicken. Something that I have never thought much about myself, but something that is very important in order to save more livestock. The idea of this is fascinating and your research about this is quite thorough. I also liked how you narrowed down your topic more to make it specific. Great topic!
I thought this topic was very interesting and underrated. I hope it becomes more noticed because lab grown food seems like a good innovation that can help the planet. I was also surprised after reading this because I thought lab grown food would be harmful to health but it turns out that it might not be and that is really fascinating.
I found this topic very interesting and I really enjoyed the way you explored both sides of lab grown food with the benefits and the disadvantages. I really liked how you were straight forward and it was easy to read and understand.
I really liked how you brought light to a topic that we should all know about since we eat this stuff almost every day. I found it interesting you found out only one company has been FDA approved for consumers to eat it. I would be intrigued to read more about lab grown food just as much as you. I also agree with your point that the environment problems are killing too much livestock for it to keep up with the demand.
