For my first piece in my sustained inquiry I decided to focus on arachnophobia. This is definitely a personal fear of mine and tons of others. So in this first spread I decided to work through brainstorming and finding some inspiration for how I wanted to execute my piece. I decided that for my media I wanted to use watercolor and pen. It was really fun playing with the watercolor splatter in the background. I definitely want to find a way to incorporate that into my final artwork. I’m really excited to work through and see the final result of this piece!
