This pieces theme will be centered around thalassophobia or the fear of the ocean. To start off planning for my fourth piece, I decided to focus my first spread on brainstorming and finding inspiration/reference photos. My first page has a few pinterest inspiration photos that I plan to use as reference for my composition. Speaking of composition, on my second page I decided that I wanted to have a female figure slightly breaking the surface of the water with the water looking ominous around her. I want it to appear like there is a sense that something bad is going to happen. I am also thinking about doing this piece in color pencil in order to get the detail of the water right. I also want to make this piece a little more realistic compared to my previous ones.
