The photo for my 5.1 spread would not upload so I can’t visually show it, but basically for my fifth work I focused on claustrophobia (the fear of enclosed spaces. I wanted to used either watercolor or sharpie pen for this. For my idea I was having trouble trying to avoid cliches like someone stuck in a box or looking like a mime. I am still working through how I am going to convey this idea while remaining abstract.
It’s really hard trying to avoid being cliche, I always find my ideas ending up like that. If you don’t want someone stuck in a “box” how about an anatomy painting of a body contorted into a shape?
