All About Ray

Oh, hello! I see you’ve come across my blog. Whether someone shared it with you or you stumbled upon it, I hope you like the content!

My name is Ray, and I’m a high school artist, singer, but most importantly for this, writer. I have many characters, creating personalities, backstories, and linking all of them together. Creative writing is extremely fun. If I can think of something, at the end of every post I’ll jot down a little journal prompt. Maybe one that I used recently, or one that I just came up with. Either way, I hope my writing can inspire you to make your own!

I’ve always been a quiet, introverted kid, but I’m speaking up more now. I’ve become extremely passionate about my characters and they’re the one topic I can ramble on and on about. Feel free to always ask me questions about my characters and stories in comments; I’m very happy to answer!

No matter who you are, gender-wise, race-wise, sexuality-wise, disability-wise, YOU CAN WRITE. If writing isn’t your thing, you can read. If reading isn’t your thing, find something else you’re passionate about! I don’t care what you look like or what people think of you. Keep going. Find what you enjoy. Send me links to your stories, to your favorite books, to your on-stage performance. As long as you’re interested in me, I’ll be interested about you! Everyone is welcome. I support everyone.

Find your passion. Sincerely,

Ray (he/they)

    Hi Cameron –

I hope that in Communications this year, since it’s such a small class, you’ll become increasingly more comfortable sharing out loud your passions and interests…and maybe even your voice. I wonder if Marshmello wears that marshmello head because he’s nervous or shy. That’s sometimes why some theatre or film folks go over the top in their costumes for public appearances. They adopt another personality for themselves!

I enjoyed reading all of your info. We have a class full of art and theater people! 🙂 Last year, I had two students produce a podcast the delves deep into Pokemon. They were avid players and were encyclopedic in their knowledge. Maybe you can cover Minecraft in your podcast!

    Thanks for sharing!
