A couple weeks ago in Sterling, Virginia a dog was spotted in the lake! Passerbys say that the dog, who had shiny gold fur, was spotted clinging to an oar near the shore. The owners, Mary and Chris, say they spotted Sunny, the dog, looking wistfully at a mushroom floating peacefully in the water, but didn’t think he would be brave enough to acquire it. When we interviewed the dog he said that the mushroom, which was purple, wrinkly, and had spiky spots, seemed to be calling his name. Sunny also complained a lot about being banned from the lake due to breaking the rule of swimming while unsupervised.
