100WC

This 100 word challenge is about the picture below. A long time ago an unnamed city stood proudly where the ocean now is. Wherever there is water on earth there used to be a city or town. This is according to an old man who used to live in this watchtower that is now on land. Many interviews with the man back in the 1500’s said that he was the last of his kind, it also says that he said that the ocean floor rose and the land fell. The tower was one of the very few watch towers that lived in the ocean but is the only tower to survive the transition of the Earth. I hope you enjoyed the story and please leave a comment with your link to your blog. Have a good day/night!

100WC

I layed in my bed wistfully looking at pictures of me and my grandparents. They had both passed away in a car accident a year ago, and I missed them greatly. They used to take me around the woods, and we would go kayaking in the lake. For old times sake and because I had nothing to do, I got up and went for a walk in the woods. I would have liked to go kayaking, but my parents made a rule not to unless one of them was there. As I walked, I found an oar covered in vines and next to it was a giant mushroom. As I picked up the oar, I saw a wrinkled piece of paper with writing on it in the dirt. I wonder what it says?

The theme for this 10oWC is “Darkness enveloped the room.”I was laying in bed when I heard a loud crash from the first floor. I got out of bed to see what had happened. My parents laid dead on the floor. I grabbed my brothers, ran up stairs, went to my parents room and locked the door. The creature heard us and ran upstairs and started screaming and scratching at the door. I called 911 and got me and my brothers out into the backyard but the thing knocked down the door. I was dragged back into the house and the thing let out a scream Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. I hope you enjoyed the story please leave a comment and some advise for future stories. Have a good day/night!

The story of the house at 29th Bass street. The house had many owners but all either died or left after a week of staying. Rumor has it that in the basement there lurked a spirit killing any who touched it’s box. The lights never worked in the basement. If no one entered it would then somehow lure you into the basement. Eventually the house got torn down. The hotel that was built on the property was never opened due to disappearances, murders & sightings by the construccion crew. Even though it was constantly removed, part of the gate still stands.

In a HAPPY little town on a small island there lived an ELEPHANT. This Elephant’s name was PURPLE, Purple was no ordinary Elephant. When he blew his trunk it sounded like a beautiful VIOLIN. He was never happy though, he wanted to play and be with other elephants. One day a man came to visit Purple, he PAINTED many pictures of him. The man then sold all the paintings around the world. One day purple was gone. From that day forward the people with the painting of purple noticed that he would move in the picture from one place to the next. No one knows where purple is, but legends say he got put into the paintings.

My car had just run out of gas so I ran to the creepy motel across the street, I needed a place to stay that night. I checked in and went to my room. I woke up to a white figure peeking out of the bathroom. I went over and saw it sitting on the bathroom floor. It looked like a little kid. I stopped an inch away and it looked at me, popped up, and ran as it let out a pitiful howl. I woke up that evening in the hospital, only remembering what had happened that night.

“What kind of cake would you think he’d like?” said Jay. “I think he would like anything but Marmite,” said Lily. “Are you sure? I thought he loved marmite?” said Max. “Not anymore,” Lily said confidently. “Alright, I just don’t want to bake the wrong cake.” said Jay. “Let’s get to it then!” said Lily all excited. “Finally! We finished!” Yelled Max, “YESSS!” screamed Jay. On the day of the party James asked them “What kind of cake did you bake?” “Vanilla, because it’s your favorite.” replied Lily. “No” he said, “I like marmite.” The three friends sat there stunned.

A long time ago, there was a wide open, beautiful field, and an old couple lived there. One day a man came to the couple, and he told them, “Take your stuff and leave, this is my land now.” Before they did, they said, “Be warned, for if you do harm to the plains, you will regret it.” No one knows what happened to the couple, but the man lived to regret his decision. We don’t know what he did, but he stands there today forced to protect the land from people like him.

In my world, we have been at war with aliens for 20 years. Most humans are now servants, and any that aren’t slaves are in hiding. I was born in a secret city underground with others who escaped the aliens. I am seven years old and live with my brothers. Three hooded figures just walked into the city and everyone was terrified. Two are clocked in black and one in orange. The orange one spoke first, “Fear not, for we are not your enemies. We ask for your help to put an end to the aliens’ reign!”

When I was out on my deck  watching the sunset, I saw a brown balloon float over into my backyard. I was curious about the color of the balloon because never in a million years had I seen a brown-colored balloon. I went to go get it and saw a note attached to it. As I opened the note, I saw it was written in a different language. I went inside and opened up my chrome book. I took a picture of the note and got it translated. What it said left me frightened.
