100WC

This 100 word challenge is about the picture below. A long time ago an unnamed city stood proudly where the ocean now is. Wherever there is water on earth there used to be a city or town. This is according to an old man who used to live in this watchtower that is now on land. Many interviews with the man back in the 1500’s said that he was the last of his kind, it also says that he said that the ocean floor rose and the land fell. The tower was one of the very few watch towers that lived in the ocean but is the only tower to survive the transition of the Earth. I hope you enjoyed the story and please leave a comment with your link to your blog. Have a good day/night!

100WC

I layed in my bed wistfully looking at pictures of me and my grandparents. They had both passed away in a car accident a year ago, and I missed them greatly. They used to take me around the woods, and we would go kayaking in the lake. For old times sake and because I had nothing to do, I got up and went for a walk in the woods. I would have liked to go kayaking, but my parents made a rule not to unless one of them was there. As I walked, I found an oar covered in vines and next to it was a giant mushroom. As I picked up the oar, I saw a wrinkled piece of paper with writing on it in the dirt. I wonder what it says?

100WC

The theme for this 10oWC is “Darkness enveloped the room.”I was laying in bed when I heard a loud crash from the first floor. I got out of bed to see what had happened. My parents laid dead on the floor. I grabbed my brothers, ran up stairs, went to my parents room and locked the door. The creature heard us and ran upstairs and started screaming and scratching at the door. I called 911 and got me and my brothers out into the backyard but the thing knocked down the door. I was dragged back into the house and the thing let out a scream Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. I hope you enjoyed the story please leave a comment and some advise for future stories. Have a good day/night!
