Student Blogging Challenge #1

Hello again, it’s AC! As you may know, the Student Blogging Challenge started this week and my class is participating in it! This week’s blogging challenge was making an avatar using different websites provided on Edublogs. The website’s avatars had different styles, so everyone had a different spin on each of their mini-me’s! Some avatars were cartoons, and some looked more realistic. Along with making an avatar we also had to explain why we wanted to make it look a certain way and how it represents you.

Click on the Google Slides above to see my communications class’ avatars. Along with looking at our avatars, you could even make an avatar yourself! In the Google Slides presentation, we linked all the websites we used to make our avatars.

Since the Student Blogging Challenge is all about visiting people’s blogs from all around the world, I figured that I could link my classmates’ blogs! Read the sentences of my classmates’ interests below, then click on the link. If you have the same interests as them, make sure to comment on their posts and share your URL with them!

Who likes nature and animals?

Who likes Tik Toks?

Who likes photography and art?

Who likes the Broadway musicals Dear Evan Hansen and Hamilton?

Who likes cheerleading?

Who likes playing soccer?

Who likes biking?

Who likes Legos?

Who likes birds?

Who likes hiking and visiting National Parks?

As always, comment down below and share your URL! Thanks for reading and visiting my blog!

  1. I love how you made a slideshow with everyone in it. It was so creative! I also love how each person represents something different! Keep up the great work and thanks for being my friend! 🙂 💖

  2. Anna Claire,
I enjoyed reading your post about the Avatar you created, and I agree that your image very closely resembles you. I used the same program to create my own Avatar, but I didn’t think of hyperlinking to Cartoonify in my post. Also, it was such a great idea to ask questions about each of the students in your Communications class because it helped me to get to know them better just by reading your post.
I can’t wait to see what the remaining weeks of the Blogging Challenge bring our way!

    • Hello Mrs. Sheridan,
I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed reading my avatar post! Cartoonify’s avatar style is very realistic, I agree. I also can’t wait for the next week of the SBC, too! Thanks for looking at my blog and reading my post. Your comments and compliments mean so much!

  4. Dear Anna,
It was very creative to do a slideshow. You are the first person i have seen do that and it looks like it was fun to do. It was fun to watch and read and learning about the different students and what their favorite thing was about using the Androidify website.
    Sincerely, Jhavanie
