100 Word Challenge 5/14

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge post for the week of may 14. This weeks prompt was having to use these next five words in our post “OAR–RULE–MUSHROOM–WISTFUL–WRINKLED” I hope you like it!

Olivia wistfully thought back on the time she and her friend Emma went to the river and rented a rowboat. They got into the water and Emma accidentally dropped her oar and we had to get it because the rule was that we had to return everything the way it was. After that they got back and returned the rowboat and oars and Emma saw a patch of wrinkled mushrooms and thought it would be smart to eat one, but it really wasn’t. Olivia wished she could have that much fun again, it’s been hard for her since the accident.

Thank you so much for reading this! I hope that you liked it. Feel free to leave a comment saying if you have ever swam in a river with your friends and what else you did if so. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 5/7

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge post for the week of May 7. This weeks prompt was the phrase “…suddenly, darkness enveloped the room…” having to be incorporated into our story at some point. I hope you like it!

I was laying in my bed reading my most recent book that I got from my library when suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. Everything was pitch black I couldn’t see anything, then the book started glowing, the pages flipped open and started pouring light throughout the room. I shielded my eyes from all of the light, then it all stopped. I looked around and the book was gone. I heard rattling behind me, it was coming from my closet. I turned around and the closet doors burst open and every page from the book started flying around my room uncontrollably.

Thank you so much for reading this. I hope you liked it. Feel free to leave a comment saying if you like reading or not and if so then what is your favorite book genre. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 4/30

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge for the week of April 30. For this week’s prompt we had to create a story inspired by the picture above. I hope you like it!

As we were leaving we were coming up on Mr. Green’s house and it always gives me the chills. There’s just something about it. The old rusty fence around his house certainly doesn’t help. My parents almost moved into that house, they decided to move to house 23 not 29. There were police cars and an ambulance around Mr. Green’s house. My brother shouted out that Mr. Green was killed by the ghosts that haunt that house. “We don’t know what happened,” I responded. Just as I said that, EMTs came out of the house with a blanket covered stretcher.

Thank you so much for reading this. I hope you liked it. Feel free to leave a comment saying if there are any well known creepy houses in your neighborhood. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 4/23

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge post for the week of April 23. The prompt for the week was having to use the phrase “as it let out a pitiful howl” somewhere in out passage. I hope you like it!

Walking home from school I heard rustling in the bushes nearby. I took a closer look and I saw that it was a dog. I tried to see if it was hurt. As it let out a pitiful howl, I noticed that its leg looked broken, so I called my mom asking what I should do. It had no collar or anything. My mom said to go to the vet. I carefully grabbed him and took him to my house and waited for my mom to get home. I’ve always wanted a dog so I hope I can keep him.

Thank you so much for reading this. I hope you liked it! Feel free to leave a comment saying if you would want to keep the dog or not. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by.- Bella

100 Word Challenge 4/16

Hey Everyone! This is the 100 word challenge for this week and we had to somehow use these five words in our blog post: violin, purple, elephant, happy and painted. I hope you like it.

I had just gotten home from violin practice and I tripped over something on the way upstairs. I looked down to see what it was and it was my brother’s. “Hey why would you do that?” My brother screamed. “What it’s just some painting of a happy elephant that you left on the floor so it’s not my fault.” “I was gonna paint it purple” he said, he ran towards me with his painting and smashed it over my head. Suddenly, we heard a noise come from the kitchen, we went there and we saw a big happy purple elephant.

Thank you so much for reading this, feel free to leave a comment saying what one word you would change of the ones we had to use for this weeks challenge. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 3/19

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge post for this week. We had you use the picture above as our prompt. I hope you like it!

“Welcome all to the day of your dreamssss…………” The robot shut down mid sentence and everyone around gasped. “We paid good money to be here”, people yelled. I’ve begged my parents to go to one of the world’s most renowned tourist attractions for years. The robot that could feel emotions and interact without human control, was broken. Guards came running towards the robot. Suddenly the robot’s eyes turned red and he threw the guards off of him and started running towards the groups of people. We saw more robots with red eyes coming from the distance. This was an attack.

Thank you so much for reading this! Feel free to leave a comment saying what you would do if you had robots taking over and trying to attack you. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 3/11

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 word challenge blog post for this week. We had to use the phrase…the orange one spoke first…. I hope you like it.

I came home and my dogs were dyed to the color of the rainbow, and they were talking. The orange one spoke first, “You’re torturing us. We were happier at the shelter that’s where our friends are”. I didn’t know if I was more shocked at the fact that they were talking or that they were sad with their new life. They started biting and scratching me. I opened my eyes, got out of bed, and checked on my dogs and they were all sleeping, probably dreaming about treats and long walks. Thank goodness it was just a bad dream.

Thank you so much for reading my post. Feel free to leave a comment saying what you would do if you came home to your pet talking to you. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 3/5

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 word challenge post for this week. We had to incorporate the words balloon, never, frightening, brown, and kicked. I hope that you like it.

Walking home from school, I stepped in a big, brown, muddy puddle. I was so mad because I was wearing new shoes, and I had told my mom that I would never get them dirty. I ran home as fast as I could and kicked open the door to the bathroom, hoping I could get them clean. I came out of the bathroom, and my family screamed, “Happy Birthday”. It was frightening how loud they were. My brother handed me a balloon while we laughed about how I didnt even notice them because I was so worried about my shoes.

Thank you so much for reading this! Fun fact this is actually based on  a true story where we threw a surprise birthday party for my mom (pre-covid), and there were at least 30 people that she ran past without noticing because she had to go to the bathroom. Feel free to leave a comment saying what one word out of the five you would not want to use in a story. Also, remember to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 02/24

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 word blogging challenge for this week. This time we had to use the phrase “…..but where did it go?” she shouted….. I hope you like it.

My friend and I were on a hike and it was getting dark so we decided to go home but we got lost. Our phones were dead so we couldn’t contact anyone. Something ran by her legs and she screamed. She was bleeding, whatever it was had cut her. I saw it and went to get a closer look at it. “It’s over here and it’s growling at me” I yelled. “But where did it go?” she shouted. I looked over and it wasn’t there. We couldn’t see it but we knew it was still there waiting to attack us.

Thank you so much for reading this. Feel free to leave a comment saying what the theme of your story would be if you had to use this phrase. Don’t forget to leave a link to your blog as well so that I can stop by. -Bella

100 Word Challenge 2/12

Hey Everyone! This is my 100 Word Challenge post for this week. Our prompt was the picture above.

I was walking my dog one day and while I was crossing the road I saw an unusual bike strapped to a pole. I’ve seen memorials on poles on the road for people who have passed away but this was creepy, I didn’t know what to do so I just kept walking. I called my mom and told her about it and she told me an old legend where bikes like that were put there when a spirit haunts that place and tortures anyone who goes near. I ran away as fast as I could but something was stopping me.

Thank you so much for reading my post I hope you liked it. Feel free to leave a comment saying what you would do if you encountered a weird bike like this. Also, don’t forget to leave a link to your blog so that I can stop by. -Bella
