On January 20th, 2021 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn into office as the new President and Vice President of the United States of America.

Inauguration Day was definitely a day of change and joy. America was not only given a new President and Vice President, but they were also given their first female Vice President who is of African American and South Asian American descent. Although, Trump and his family decided to depart before the Inauguration, without bidding farewell and good wishes to the new President and Vice President, the day went on swiftly. There were performances from famous singers Lady Gaga, Jeniffer Lopez, and Garth Brooks. But what shocked people most was all the amazing outfits that were worn by those attending, especially Vice President Kamala Harris, Dr. Jill Biden, and Michelle Obama’s beautiful outfits. Inauguration Day was definitely an exciting day for many Americans around the country because of the great changes that President Biden and Vice President Harris will bring.
