Everything Biden Did on His First Day as President

On January 20th, Joseph R Biden Jr. was officially inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States of America. In just his first day in office, Biden has already crossed off many things on his to-do list. He has officially signed 15 executive actions which is part of his plan to address important policy priorities. Some of the policies he signed so far are making masks mandatory on federal property, rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, putting a pause on oil drilling in Alaska’s Wildlife Refuge, removing the Muslim Travel Ban, halting the construction of the wall on the southern US border, pausing all student loan payments until September, and reversing Trump’s decision to leave the World Health Organization. Furthermore, his vice president, Kamala Harris, swore in the two newest Georgia Senators, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. People are amazed at how much the two have accomplished in less than 48 hours of being the new leaders of the nation. The country is now officially majority Democrat which will help Biden and Harris pass many liberal legislations over the next four years.
