Recently, thermometers located at the Atlantic seafloor have recorded a slight increase in temperature-about 0.02 degrees Celsius. While this may not seem like a significant change, it is important to note that the Seafloor is the coldest part of the ocean. That, along with the fact that hot water rises to the top of a body of water results in the conclusion that there is a dramatic shift occurring that may be attributed to global warming.

“It is terrifying to know that especially with the corals dying too,” college freshman Ezra Lloyd said. “We need to be doing more to make sure that we don’t all die.”
