Canadian singer, Shawn Mendes, released the trailer for his new Netflix documentary, “In Wonder,” on Tuesday. The film is set to be released to Netflix on November 23, 2020. The trailer reveals some deep things about Mendes and how he became the artist he is today. Mendes shared some short, personal clips in the trailer that made fans’ hearts ache. At one point, Mendes said, “You first get on the stage and ego comes rushing in…I’m just a guy and I love music. Time to surrender.”

Mendes’ long-term girlfriend- who is a singer-songwriter herself- Camilla Cabello, will also be featured in the documentary, as you hear Mendes tell Cabello in the trailer that every song he’s ever written has been about her. Although the documentary follows his music career, Mendes wants fans to see a different part of him as well throughout the documentary. He said, “This isn’t a story about a famous musician. This is a story about a guy growing up.”
