This is my 100 word challenge for April 16th that I forgot to post on my blog once I had completed it. The prompt was these words: Violin, Elephant, Purple, Happy, Painted.

The purple lighting shone down, surrounding him in a blanket of warmth. In his dark, grey, painted cage, He felt happy and content, listening to the sounds of the violin down the hall . He turned his head to look around and felt the cool air of the enclosure. He was trapped like an elephant but didn’t seem to mind. Then he closed his eyes, once more feeling a rolling warmth envelop him. He touched the cold concrete of his cell and snapped back to reality. He frantically looked around in hopes of finding a clue as to where he was.
