For this sketchbook spread, I did two different media studies of the barn from the last sketchbook spread. One is ink, and the other is acrylic. I decided on acrylic even though I like the texture of the barn better in Ink, I think color will play a big role in conveying the right emotion in my final. For the final, I would like to use more muted colors than the colors I used for the media study; the colors in the media study were too flat, and more muted colors will give off a nostalgic, vintage, tone.
