This is the second page to my sketchbook spread for this upcoming project. In the center, you can see my media study. I wanted to mess around with the same brushes I used to paint the apples, to paint a person. It’s a really rough media study, I didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t want to burn myself out prior to the project. The right side of her face is the side that is mostly finished, from her right eye to the left, I was still in the midst of fixing the skin tone and blending.

I am planing on using the photo in the top left, (the one circled), as my main reference photo for my project. I felt like the angle would be cool with the snakes of coming around it. I think I may try to enforce some green eye shadow into my final but I’m not sure yet. I do know that I want to have like a bright/hot pink background, as I feel like it will contrast the green of the snakes nicely. I am also planning on doing this project in Procreate.
