100 Word Challenge #6

Hey everyone.  Today I am back with another 100 word challenge.  This has been my biggest writer’s block yet.  I rewrote this story four times and wasn’t satisfied until this one.  Hopefully you enjoy it because I wanted to put out the best content for you.

My sister is the worst. She gets everything I want.  This week was my first day of high school, and I ran into her friend group.  My sister wasn’t around because she was taking the SAT but that was fine with me.  I tried to pass them, but they stopped me.  “Look, it’s Harper’s stupid sister.  Could you get any uglier?” They hissed.  I didn’t know how to respond. “I thought you had a life but where did it go?” she shouted.  My sister stands across the hallway defending me. Maybe my sister isn’t so bad afterall.

Thanks for reading!  Because of how much work this took, I would appreciate it if you followed my blog.  Recently I set up a new widget where you can get emails every time I post and recommend you check it out.  If you enjoyed this post, leave a comment down below and leave your blog URL if you have one.  Have a great day and as always, remember to live your life with soul!

100 Word Challenge #5

This weeks prompt ^

Hey everyone!  Today I am sharing the 100wc #5.  To be honest, I’ve started to lose count of how many I’ve done.  This week’s prompt was very similar to two weeks ago, but I didn’t want this week to be the same.  I decided to go out of my usual serious writing style this week and go for a more creative style.  Hopefully you enjoy it and, if you like it, nominate me to be on the homepage of the 100wc.

I was on my regular walk around the neighborhood with my friend.  It was a normal day and a normal week, but, for some reason, the people around us were acting weird.  In the middle of our walk, we saw a yellow bike strapped to the tire by the wheel!  The farther past this tree, the more bikes we saw like this.  I was starting to think it was bad luck to lock a bike normally in this town.

Yay, you finished!  This short story was based off of something like a dream.  For some reason, I feel like after Covid 19 this is how things will be. Maybe some random viral video would trick everyone into thinking this will stop them from getting sick.  Anyways, if you enjoyed this story, don’t forget to comment and tell me what you think.  While you are at it, leave your blog URL, so I can check it out.   As always, don’t forget to live your life with soul.

100 Word Challenge!

Hey all you soulful people, it’s Keeley and today I will be participating in the first 100 word challenge of 2021!  The prompt for this post was the phrase ..everything stopped and..  I was nervous about this challenge but in the end I think I did pretty well.  Hopefully you all enjoy this quick post!  Now without further ado let’s get right into this challenge.  Enjoy!

Everyday the world is changing. Leaves fall, flowers bloom.  But one thing that hasn’t changed is you.  Imagine if everything stopped and you had a day to do anything you wanted before time started again.  What would you do?  How would you spend your time?  Would you stick to the same routine you always do, or would you experience as much as you can?  Why waste what you have when you can change your life for the better.  Bloom into your own beautiful flower.  Be the best that you can be, and change for yourself and the world around you.

Yay! You made it!  In my story I went for an indirect method of writing.  The lesson of this is kinda complicated, and I don’t really understand it either.  If you guys got the lesson comment down below.  While you’re at it feel free to leave your own 100 word story using this prompt I used   !  Also leave your blog URL if you have one so I can check it out.  See ya next time folks and remember to live your life with soul! -Keeley
