Thirteen Reasons Why : Season 2

The first season of Thirteen Reasons Why came out last year during our spring break and left a remarkable effect on people all over the world. This show is about a girl who commits suicide and leaves behind tapes of why she committed suicide to the people who affected her life and made her so miserable. It leaves a huge emotional impact on you on really makes you think about your actions. The new season was just released on Netflix and there has been a lot of controversy with the violent scenes they added into the show. The show in my eyes left a bad message at the end of season 2 because they basically inferred that nothing gets better and that the people who hurt you will always be let off easily. I thought the first season was clearly about suicide awareness but the second season was pretty messed up in my eyes. They show a lot of obscene scenes that should not be allowed on Netflix. Overall i find the show very interesting but in my eyes it glorifies things that are terrible for a lot of people going through them. I would recommend this show to people who are not suicidal or going through any harsh life moments.

Gossip Girl

This show has been one of my favorite shows since sixth grade. I have watched it through probably around 8 times and it still never fails to bore me. Gossip girl is about a group of filthy rich kids who live on the upper east side in New York. They experience a lot of drama and trauma in their lifetimes which makes the show very intriguing and very hard to stop watching it. This show really shows how you can have almost everything you could ever want in your life but still feel like you have absolutely nothing. This is more of a show that girls would find interesting but i feel that boys would still find themselves to like it because it has a good mix between drama, romance, fights between friendships, and hardships with school and family. All of the problems and drama that they go through really make you feel that you are in a virtual reality with them. All of the actors are very well known and really portray their characters with excellence. I would rate this show a 9/10 and definitely recommend to everyone who has not gotten the chance to watch it yet.  Image result for gossip girl

How to get away with murder

This show is my newest netflix obsession. It is a new hit TV series about a criminal defense attorney Annaliese Keaten that teaches college students about the importance of law and order. However, it is not only about a boring college class. Throughout the whole show they are discovering multiple different murders and covering up one of their own murders. There is endless drama and truly makes your blood boil. It is hard to stop watching it once you start. I am currently on episode 10 season 1 and the show is only getting better and better. There is a total of 3 seasons. I highly recommend this TV show to anyone who likes suspense and needs a new TV show obsession for the month of January/February. The actors are amazing at portraying the tough, scary situations they get put in. This show truly makes you want to become a criminal defense attorney. How to get away with murder is a 10/10.
