On Tuesday, Britney Spears filed to remove her Father as her Conservator, replacing him with one appointed by the state of California. This action comes in wake of the #FreeBritney movement which notes that there is probable financial abuse and entrapment within the allegedly controlling relationship that her father has with Britney. However, it seems that Britney’s father will retain financial control over her assets for the time being.

“I’m glad to see that there is action happening instead of someone just making another documentary to exploit her situation,” LCPS student Aditi Kumar said.
