Rudy Giuliani, a lawyer for former President Donald Trump and former mayor of New York City, is being sued for his false election claims. Dominion Voting Systems, the lead supplier of election technology, is suing Giuliania for 1.3 billion dollars for defamation or in simple terms, slander against the company. They claim that Giuliani made up allegations about the company as well as spreading disinformation about the company during the whole campaign trail. The lawsuit is 107 pages long and provides multiple evidence sources of statements made by Giuliani on social media, during hearings, and during speeches. In these statements, Giuliani claimed that there was mass voter fraud and that the results of the election are fake. Giuliani is unbothered by the trial claiming it will give him time to see if there was actually voter fraud and that it is another act of intimidation by the left wing. On his radio show, he also stated that he’s ready to have a good fight against them because he is a great investigator and has a pretty good record in court. Dominion has previously send Giuliani multiple warnings and now plans to file more than one lawsuit, as Giuliani’s words have damaged the good name of the company.
