Year 2020 just happens to be “Leap Year”, which means that there will be one additional day added to the calendar.
“Leap Year” is when an extra day is added to the year, and it falls in the month of February. This day is known as “Leap Day”, and is on February 29th. This extra day is added to the calendar every four years, and it is added because the earth needs a little bit more time than usual to orbit the sun to create a full Solar Year. This year, “Leap Day” will fall onto a Saturday, so be sure to celebrate anyone who was born on a “Leap Day” since this will be the first time in four years that they will be able to celebrate on their actual date of birth.
