The puppeteer for Sesame Street’s Big Bird, Caroll Spinney, has passed. Spinney was also the puppeteer for Oscar the Grouch. He was 85.  The cause of death was dystonia. He had been living with it for a few years. The cast, during Kennedy Center honors, wore yellow feathers to honor him.
