On Wednesday, Michael Cohen was sentenced three years in prison for financial crimes and lying to congress. Cohen apologized for what he had done, but said that he felt it was his duty to cover up his former boss’s “dirty deeds”. His crimes include  tax violations, lying to a bank, and buying the silence of women who claimed that they once had affairs with the future president during the 2016 election. However, Cohen is not the only one who is affected by the current events. President Trump, according to Cohen, directed him in the crimes. Cohen placed a majority of the blame on Trump and now some people are wondering about impeachment of the president. As of right now, Cohen has agreed to cooperate with the special counsel investigation of the president’s campaign.
