Over the last few weeks the people of France have been protesting against the government. The protests have gotten very violent, because of this restaurants are encouraged to close and some tourist sites will be closed, including the Eiffel Tower. The protests began when the government decided to increase the fuel tax, this affected the lower class. Students joined the protesting, but instead was asking for changes in exams and application procedures. All of these protests are being compared to letting a monster loose. Many are worried this will ruin Christmas because many retailers have shut down.
