“Venom” has been in theaters for almost two weeks now. It has so far hit $377.4 million dollars in the box office. If you’re wondering what Venom is, he is a character from the Marvel Universe. Being portrayed as both a villain and an anti-hero, Venom is considered to be a popular character in the MU. It would only be about time until the character finally gets its own movie. Now how did the people feel about this movie? To describe it in one word, it’s “Polarizing.” You either see people who love this movie, or you see people who dislike it. The people you will see who like the movie the most are the audience themselves. Most of the audience felt that the movie had a nifty plot, great special effects, and have especially praised Tom Hardy for his performance. The critics, on the other hand, had a much more negative feeling about the movie, calling the movie “generic” and “tone-deaf” as a film. Despite the polarizing reactions, the movie is an interesting watch. It is only up to you to determine how good the film is.
