My second-night blog opinion is the book, gets very deep in talking about the struggles that the kid and his father go through at Ausuwitch. His father gets beat for asking a simple question, such as if he can go to the bathroom. It really shows how bad the Nazi’s treated the Jews at any concentration camp. My current feeling on the book is that it is very well written and I look forward to reading the rest of the book and finding out more of the struggles that this family goes through and the eventual outcome as the Allies and the Soviets come and free them.

First Impression of Night

My first impression of Night was that it was very sad. The book talks about Jewish people in Hungary and they then get moved to Germany as Germany loses land during the end of the war. The move to Auschwitz that happened for their family was very daunting as they get moved to ghettos first and then they get moved to the train which takes them all the to Auschwitz, where they are unloaded. It really opens your eyes to how the Germans treated the Jews as basically cattle instead of a true people.

 

Classic Movie about Peasants

The Movie “A Knights Tale” was such a wonderful classic tale of rags to riches. It starts with a simple peasant whose name is William Thatcher that goes from being poor to be a very successful knight. He would also do anything for his love and his honor for going to the championships and winning the game. In the end, he gets knighted by a prince to face his rival Count Adehemar under his true name William Thatcher instead of his fake name Ulrich VonLiechtenstein and he truly wins the championship and his love.
