One Little Word
My one little word for 2021 is persevere. 2020 was pretty hard, and the beginning of 2021 hasn’t been too great. It’s hard to remain positive. I’m hoping this word reminds me to keep my head up and hang in there, even through difficult times.
I have three goals for this year, or three resolutions. My first goal is to study more, my second girl is to start running, and my third goal is to get better at time management. In my opinion, the most important one is the first one. There are one or two classes I’m struggling in, and I want to get better grades on my tests by studying. Time management is also pretty important. I do all of my work on time, but I rush through it and a lot of the time it feels half-done at best. I’d like to get better at pacing myself. Finally, running is something that I think could help mentally. Just getting outside more and getting some exercise could help me stay positive, healthy, and motivated.
My plan of action is to study every day for twenty-five minutes per subject, to run at least three or four times a week, and to make sure I’m pacing myself and doing my best quality work on projects and assessments. I also want to be more optimistic this year, and one way I can do that is by reminding myself to “persevere.”
Thanks for reading! What are some of your goals for 2021? Feel free to leave a comment and your URL. 🙂
