Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) will soon host a computer science teacher-training hub through a partnership with CodeVA, a non-profit organization working to bring equitable computer science education to all of Virginia’s students.

The hub, one of a network of sites being strategically located across the Commonwealth, will help ensure access to free professional development for teachers in Loudoun County and across Northern Virginia. These hubs also are becoming important to developing new best practices in K-12 computer science curriculum and teacher professional development, as well as essential points of contact and collaboration with regional corporate interests vested in computer science by their need for a future-ready workforce.
