To finish up the final spirit week of the 2018-2019 school year, FHS had its traditional class color day and pep rally. For the class of 2019, it was their last pep rally, and a way to celebrate their final prom. Although the freshmen class accumulated the most spirit points during the pep rally itself, the seniors were the ones who had the most points overall and received the new spirit cup for the annual spring pep rally.
For many of the seniors, it was a bittersweet event. After four years, they will all be heading off to different places next year. The excitement surrounding prom and the final pep rally could be seen in the senior class.
“I feel kind of sad that our time together is coming to an end, but happy because it’s a new beginning,” said senior Zuha Hameed. “I’m excited because the whole class will be here.”
