Pilot Program gives hope for in person school

Cautionary signs line the school, reminding students to follow proper COVID-19 precautions.

From Nov. 10-13, Freedom High School hosted a pilot program which allowed about 1oo students to enter the building and go through their school day. The program selected students who had originally volunteered to participate in the hybrid program that had a teacher in the school and allowed them the opportunity to come in for a day or two during the week. Students were required to wear masks, and did most of their classes online unless their teacher was present for the pilot program that day.
