While it has not necessarily been common practice, students are expected to carry a hall pass when they leave class. Over this past week, the rule has been strongly enforced, which has caused some confusion among the students. Some of the departments decided to go out of their way to have some hilarious hall passes for their students to carry around. Assistant Principle Neelum Chaudhry emphasizes that this is not a new rule.
“They can have whatever hall pass they want, but the rule has always been around,” Chaudhry said.
Instead of a paper hall pass, Hyun Yim uses a styrofoam gravestone.
