Weekends

This past weekend was really fun. I went out to dinner with Yasmin on Friday night after taking a three hour nap. The next day I had practice and then Eli and Maeve came over at night. After that, Maeve and I spent time with Kobe and Steve. It was awesome until the car broke down in the middle of the road when we were going home. The next morning I helped out at the Cascades race with some friends. Later I tanned and then went to Maeveś soccer game after getting smoothies with Kathryn. Next weekend should be a busy weekend as well. I am so happy I get to see my second family. We have morning practice on Saturday.  After that I have three grad parties to attend. Really praying that it does not rain like it has been. I just want summer to be honest.

Sunday Funday

I want to go to A Boogie SO badly this weekend. Yasmin and I are trying to find a ride but it is hard to. Yasmin offers to take the metro but I do not know if that is a great idea. My mom thinks the crowd will fling us which is kind of scary. PRAYING we can go. Hoping for the best.

Cinco de Mayo

My Cinco de Mayo celebration was really interesting. I played with JV in their tournament to get back in the groove. Later I went to go spend time with Courtney and Madison. Then we walked to Jacob’s house to celebrate. We then left to go to Nick’s house. Paige, Victoria, Anna, Evelyn and I went to Alex’s house. Later we went for a drive and then Evelyn slept over. It was a day full of adventure with detail that would take too long to explain in this:) Cinco de Mayo was very eventful.  WOHOOOOO!!

Back and better

Spraining my meniscus to bone bruising to partially tearing my ACL all in one practice made me so upset. Eight weeks without playing my favorite sport ever made me so sad. I have been fading from everyone due to it. The reason for this was because my knee injury is too minor to get surgery. This means I am more prone to tearing the whole thing. I am scared to come back but today is the day I come back. Maybe I will actually be able to play in a game soon. Here we go!

benchwarmer…literally

I have not been able to do any physical for two weeks now.   I may have torn my meniscus or ACL. At practice I was sprinting and cutting across the 8 and my knee locked in place. My mom wanted me to wait and see if my knee would heal (since I have knee problems) before getting an MRI. Rick and my coach think I will be out for the rest of the season…blown! I am craving to go on the field but there is a reason for everything. Minor setback for a major comeback is what they say. Here is a pic of the injured gang.

CNU & GMU

Image

Recently, I participated in lacrosse tournaments at George Mason University as well as Christopher Newport University.  I met a lot of new people at George Mason and I also talked to all the coaches which was a cool experience.  I got to see most of my travel buddies at Christopher Newport since we signed up together.  CNU has a beautiful campus but the only thing I do not like about it is how small their football stadium is.  Now onto Baltimore and Richmond this weekend!

No break

I am excited for the next few weeks to come.  This weekend I have a visit at George Mason for lacrosse as well as a 4v4 tournament.  Next weekend I have a visit at Christopher Newport for lacrosse as well as a 7v7 tournament.  The week after that tryouts are here! I cannot wait:) Do not know when I will have time for homework but it is fine. #living

Track

Track is fun and dead right now.  It is fun because of the people who do it but it is dead because two hours and 15 minutes everyday of the week after school running and working out is starting to become old.  I want it to be over so spring sports can start.  Currently I am number 8 in the state for shot and I also run 55m and 4 by 2m with Caroline and Jennifer.  LIVING. I 10/10 recommend to try out indoor track because you get a lot closer with people.

puppy

Catherine needed help fostering this puppy last week.. IT WAS THE MOST ADORABLE THING EVER!!!! I miss it already.  He was so cute and he was only eight weeks old.  He was a mixed lab and loved playing with anything and everything.

babyyyyy

ESPN Wide World of Sports lax tournament

This past Thanksgiving break I went to Orlando for a tournament!  The two days of the tournament (November 19-20) were the highlight of the extended vacation because I got tan.  I also love my team so being with them at any time is always fun.  We spent time with each other after one of our games at one of my teammates’ resorts.  Being at the ESPN place was such a great experience especially since the lacrosse environment came together. Oh.. and Nader stole 5 boxes of gatorade bars from the facility. Would you be as savage as Nader and steal that food?
