Last blog I predicted the Drafting of Derrius Guice. I was very happy with the Da’Ron Payne selection since the Redskins finished 32nd in run defense. Derrius Guice should of been drafted in the first round and I thought the Redskins were gonna take him their. He ended up falling to us mid 2nd round and I couldn’t be any happier. I predict the Redskins to make the playoffs this year and go to the NFC Championship in three years.

Tomorrow the NFL Draft starts. Teams can dramatically improve after the draft, which is what the Redskins desperately need. Here are some possible moves they will make in the first round.
I will be happy with any of these moves but if we could trade back and still get Guice I would be very happy.

The Washington Wizards beat the Boston Celtics in Double OT yesterday by one. This is a good sign. I think we have a really good team. Is it to early to predict Eastern Confrence Finals?

Richard Sherman is well now a free agent since the Seahawks released him. I would love for him to come to Washington. Also, the Redskins possibly are looking to the Cardinals to trade for Tyrann Mathieu. In the Draft this year I like Denzel Ward and Jaire Alexander a lot. Best case scenario we get Mathieu, Sherman, and Ward.

Jarvis Landry was franchised tagged yesterday, so hopes of signing him are out the window. I like Marqise Lee, Allen Robinson, and Sammy Watkins are all possible Redskins WR targets in Free Agency. Marcus Peters was also just traded to the Rams. Apparently Tyrann Mathieu wants to be traded, and I would love to see him join the Redskins. Overall, the Redskins need to sign a big WR and land a top notch defender for our secondary as well in free agency. I would like to see the Redskins draft a RB early on in the draft. (like in round 1 or 2) Also Redskins need to resign Zach Brown and draft a LB.

John Wall is one of the best point guards in the NBA, but may not be the right guy to lead the Wizards. In his absence (injury) the Wizards are playing better. They are winning more games, and less ball dominate players are touching the ball more creating a more effective offense. Either when John Wall returns he needs to take this experience as a lesson and pass the ball around.
