When Olivia Rodrigo released “Driver’s License” in the beginning of January 2021, no one expected her to break the records that she has with her debut song and debut album. She hadn’t even planned on releasing an album, originally settling on an ep, until she saw the success that came from her debut song. “Sour”, her debut album, came out on May 21st. Rodrigo was the first artist to have her first three singles on the Hot 100 top 10.
