This year’s March Madness was filled with unexpected wins and losses, the championship game was no acception. Gonzaga had gone undefeated their whole season up until this final game. They played Baylor in the national championship game. Gonzaga was favored to win by 4.5 points, nobody thought Baylor even stood a chance. Baylor had never won a championship before and the odds were definitely not in their favor. However, Baylor seemed to dominate the whole game. Their three point percentage and rebound percentage were noticeably higher throughout the game. Baylor’s defense played extremely well, along with their accurate shots, which ultimately led the bears to win by 16 points. It was an amazing game and proves that sports are just as much of a mental game as they are physical.
