Last Friday night, news broke out surrounding a sexual allegation against members of the Tuscarora High School Football team. It has shaken the LCPS community, and with so little knowledge of this event students are looking for thoughtful ways to express support.

Tonight, Freedom High School’s Football team will face off with Tuscarora High School, following a period of cancelled practices at Tuscarora this past week. Although the investigation is still ongoing and not clear as to what exactly happened, students across the county are creating posters against sexual assault and in support of victims.

Sydney Neimala, a senior at Freedom High School, says Freedom’s student section will show support by wearing all white tonight at the game. “Our school’s thoughts and prayers are with Tuscarora High School and the victim’s family,” Neimala said.

Tuscarora and Freedom High School will compete against one another at 7:00pm tonight. Tickets will be 6 dollars at the door.
