Students are being encouraged to improve their writing this year with the opening of the John Champe High School Writing Center. Hosted in Ms. Lima’s room, tutors are available to anyone who needs help perfecting their writing skills.

“Right now, it’s just for seniors for their college essays,” says sophomore Caroline Miscio, a tutor at the Writing Center. “But once we open for everyone, anyone can come to us to get help [with their writing.]”

To get help with writing, students can pick up passes in the library at the beginning of the day. Then, during their lunch block, they can head to room 2600 to have writing tutors edit their essays.
