On February 3, Netflix released it’s newest original show called Firefly Lane. The show is based on the famous book written by Kristin Hannah and has been in Netflix’s top 10 list since its release. The show follows the life of two best friends, Tully and Kate, and their ups and downs throughout life starting with when they were teenagers in the 70’s. The show flashes from past to present, so viewers can learn about both characters and understand why Tully is so outgoing and bold while Kate is much quieter and shy. So far fans have had mixed reviews on show, however they have all deemed that it is very binge worthy and keeps you glued to your television screen for hours. While the show has not yet been renewed for a second season, fans are speculating that it is in the works as the ending leaves a plot twist leaving fans eager for a new season.
