Oscar nominated star of Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy”, has just announced that he is transgender. Elliot, who used to be known as Ellen, announced this news to his Instagram followers. In his Instagram post, Page stated that he goes by the pronouns he/him, and they/them. Page also stated that he describes himself as both transgender and non-binary. His many costars and loved ones have all showed Page their love and support through social media posts.

In his Instagram post announcing the news he also added, “I feel lucky to be writing this… I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self… I will offer whatever support I can and continue to strive for a more loving and equal society.”
