Scooter Braun Sells Taylor Swift´s Music to Shamrock Holdings

Scooter Braun, Taylor Swift´s former manager, sold her music to Shamrock Holdings for 300 million dollars. Swift had no idea about the transaction, until Shamrock Holdings wrote her a letter informing her about the deal. Swift was infuriated with the news, stating that Braun denied her the chance of owning her old masters. Previously, she had informed fans that she was trying to negotiate with Braun, in order to get back all her music. However, Braun wanted her to sign an NDA, which essentially would silence her and not allow her to purchase the music. After receiving the letter from Shamrock Holdings, Swift was interested in partnering with them. However, she will not be able to as Braun will continue to gain profit from her music through the company. Swift has had major issues with Braun in the past when he exerted forceful control over her music. Due to these issues, Swift left Braun’s company in November 2018 and has had a terrible relationship with him since. With this recent news, Swift is very upset and wishes she could just get her old masters back.
