The U.S. has officially withdrawn from the Paris Climate agreement. President Donald Trump began the process of withdrawing almost a year ago and, no matter the outcome of the current election, the U.S. will formally withdraw. Former Vice President Joe Biden has said that he will rejoin the agreement if elected President. The U.S. is officially the first country to back out of the agreement which aimed to slow down the effects of climate change.
