Say Yes to the Dress

Tis the season of homecoming, girls and boys planning on what to wear, where to eat, who they want to ask. Homecoming night is a chance to get dressed up and have a good time. For most girls, their dress is the most important part. Girls will search for the perfect dress for weeks, even months before the dance. They want their dresses to be unique and special, but what happens when someone has the same dress? Girls end up fighting with their friends, arguing over who gets to wear the dress they both picked.

A popular homecoming dress website is Lulu’s. This site is popular due to its many different styles, colors, and affordable prices. Because this website is every girls go to, this leads to wearing the same dress.

“They (girls) want to be unique and not be in competition with other girls,” said senior Maddie Muldoon. “They want to look pretty because the dress is everything.”
